Curious why all of Lady Gaga’s tattoos (actually, all of her body tattoos) are inked only on the left side of her body? It’s because Gaga is a self-professed daddy’s girl and she is honoring her dad’s request to keep one side of her body “slightly normal.” Because of this, Gaga only has tattoos on the left side of her body; the right side is completely clean. Gaga actually refers to the left side of her body as her “Iggy Pop side” and the right side of her body as her “Marilyn Monroe side.”

“The Haus,” which refers to “Haus of Gaga,” is the name Lady Gaga uses to describe her behind-the-scenes creative team. According to Gaga, the German name is inspired by Andy Warhol’s Factory and is also a play on the word “House,” used by famous fashion brands. The Haus works on various projects for Lady Gaga, including stage sets, clothing, props, and sounds for her live performances.

Believe it or not, a 17-year-old Stefani Germanotta sporting a dark ‘do got her hands on a fake ID and used it to get her first of what would be many body tattoos. Her choice – a small black treble clef tattoo, which she had inked on her lower back, just above her butt.
